Hair transplant in a young man with substantial pre-existing hair

Before surgery. 11 months after surgery to entire frontal area without a hyper-dense hairline

This 30 year old man was seen for very early MPB. He was treated with medical therapy but he also wanted some permanent hair to be in place to give him “peace of mind”. The goal was not to create a substantial change in density, but to cover all the frontal areas of current and future loss. Dr. Unger does not try to make an overly dense hairline, if it is unlikely the patient will have sufficient donor hair to fill the rest of the alopecic areas with even higher density (as occurs in nature). The results show the patient 11 months after a surgery consisting of 2019FU.
