Before 2nd hair transplant surgery and 9 months later
This 22 year old patient had one surgery with another surgeon but after meeting one of Dr Robin Unger’s patients, she came for a consultation. Her significant thinning at such a young age, strong family history of female pattern hair loss, combined with her emotional distress, convinced Dr Unger that surgery was indicated. She proceeded with a transplant along her part-line, a focal frontal zone and the 800 FU to the center of the crown. The photos show only her crown region before and after surgery. She was also started on rogaine 5% and referred to an endocrinologist to be certain that there was no underlying medical condition requiring treatment. She has remained pleased with the results since 2007.
