This 60 year old gentleman had been leaving without hair for quite a number of years. He wanted a significant but subtle improvement in his frontal region. Often as a person ages, the donor hair density decreases, but this man retained very dense donor hair. His characteristics were excellent for the use of double follicular units (DFU). This grafts help improve density and protect the white hairs which are often difficult to visualize. One surgery of 1251 FU and 386 DFU was performed and his results are shown only 6 months later, at which time he had a second procedure to treat his midscalp region. He has been happy with the results since 2004.
