Before surgery to area of temple recessions, after ten months
This 53 year old patient had significant hair thinnning in a relatively large area, fortunately she also had excellent donor hair density and scalp laxity. One surgery yielded 1306 FU and 591 DFU. These grafts were distributed over a relatively large area frontally, with sites made at a density of only 15-25 per sq cm to reduce the potential for significant post-operative shedding. The patient had very minimal effluvium and a year later returned very happy with her excellent results. At that time a second procedure yielding 2128 FU was performed to the posterior half of the thinning area. She has been happy with the results for 7 years to date.
